General Rules & Decorum

These rules apply in all channels, sites, sessions and any venue of SCAR

No offensive messages or images.
Anything that a reasonable person might find offensive. This includes any gorey, sexual and scary content.
No disrespecting DMs or other players - in and out of game.
Please keep discussions and behavior civil so we can all enjoy this fantasy environment.
No cheating.
This applies everywhere. Track your downtime, inventory, gold, and stats appropriately. We do monitor and audit these things. Cheating on purpose will get you a boot from the server.
No spam.
This includes but is not limited too: loud/obnoxious noises in voice, @mention spam, character spam, image spam, unnecessary messages in the RP channels and message spam. You will get a warning first, then muted if it continues. If it still happens, you will be removed from the server.
No harassment.
Including sexual harassment or encouraging of harassment or bullying. This will not be tolerated, and you will be removed from the server and SCAR. This includes private messages to our members. Depending on the severity, there will be no warning, you will simply be removed and banned from returning.
No minors.
Apologies lads and ladies, while we are a PG13 server with no Adult content, only adults 18+ allowed.

Session Rules

We have certain expectations and rules we follow during game sessions to make play more enjoyable and run smoother

No meta-gaming.
If the party is in initiative, you are only permitted to talk on your own turn for comments regarding the encounter. This prevents meta-gaming, talking over one another, and keeps turns moving along for everyone. We have a text channel for jokes and memes during sessions that keeps it out of in-game chat.
Be on time.
Players should be logged onto Roll20, Discord, and on voice chat before the quest is scheduled to begin. If you are late, you may be replaced by a stand-by player. If it happens too often, your lotto will be lowered and you may no longer be pulled to quest. We try to respect everyone's time.
Defer to the Dungeon Master.
During a session, there may be an instance where a rule or action is called into question. In order to allow the session to continue smoothly, please always defer to the final decision of the DM. It can always be discussed after the game in more detail, but we try not to derail with rule lawyering.
