Refugee
Your farm is gone, probably some of your family too. Life on the Sword coast has taken a terrible turn for you. Packing your bags you leave the ruins of your past life and head off to start anew in a new land. Having to survive the trip was no small feat. Bandits, monsters, mobs, and other horrible things have fought you at every turn, or maybe you had it easy with some help. Your story is yours to write.
- Stat Options (choose either +2 in one stat and +1 in another, OR +1 in all three): Constitution, Intelligence, Wisdom
- Skill Proficiencies (your choice of TWO): Investigation, Perception, or Survival
- Tool Proficiencies: One Artisan Tool of choice.
- Languages: Two Standard languages of choice.
- Background Keepsake: A personal item from your destroyed home/homeland (value under 10gp)
- Background Gold: 15gp.

1 Collector Survivor: You are a resident of Daggerford who lost their family when the Collector attacked the area.
2 Orlumbor citizen: While away on a trip, the city fell to Deadpool. You lost everything and could not return to the city.
3 Eastern Refugee: After you village was attacked east of the Anauroch, the Sword Coast Republic assisted you and your family in relocation to Stillwater.
4 Ten Town Refugee: After your entire town was wiped out, you decided to head south to see where all the adventurers come from.
5 Yartar Defector: After seeing your peaceful community become an empire-expanding war machine, you decided to head south away from war.
6 Baldur's Gate Citizen: With all the explosions, you lost your tavern, and didn't have gold to rebuild. You hear Daggerford is growing, and decide it might be nice where buildings don't blow up.
7 Redemption: You survived a train crash, and were never the same. "I still hear the laughter of that jester woman in my dreams."
