Throughout your entire life, you've heard of the grand adventures by grander adventurers, and from the amount of heroes that pass through your inn you've finally become fed up, and have decided to start up the adventuring life of your own, with from what you've wrangled up spare from lost property to using card games to earn a little extra gold, you saved up enough to begin your adventure, selling or granting your inn, you set out and begin a new chapter in your life.


NOTE: Some backgrounds have options to choose from. Please read carefully. You may not get every proficiency listed below, as some may be a choice between one or the other.

  • Stat Options (choose either +2 in one stat and +1 in another, OR +1 in all three): Charisma, Dexterity, Wisdom
  • Skill Proficiencies (your choice of TWO): Acrobatics, Insight, or Persuasion
  • Tool Proficiencies: Provisioner's Supplies or Weaver's Tools
  • Languages: Two Standard languages of choice.

  • Background Keepsake: A flask filled with mead
  • Background Gold: 10gp.

Your upkeep for a Product Business of a tool you're proficient in is reduced by 30%. This does not count towards your building upgrades for shops (Example: Statue, Rug, Showcase, ect). This cannot be combined with Elderwood Foundation.
